Seminar: Management System Requirements for Aircraft Operators

European air operators are required to document and implement a ‘management system’ [ORO.GEN.200]. Senior Managers in these organisations need to understand this requirement and how the various elements of the management system relate to their own duties and responsibilities. This seminar explores and explains the EASA requirements for management systems and the associated responsibilities of managers.

Training Objective

After attending this course you will be able to explain the main elements of an ‘EASA-compliant’ management system and how these relate to your role in the organisation.

Who should attend?

The seminar is aimed at management personnel from Aircraft Operators (airlines, charter operators and non-commercial operators) and people taking up ‘Accountable Manager’ or ‘Nominated Person’ (previously ‘nominated post-holder’) positions in accordance with ORO.GEN.210. The course will be particularly useful as preparation for an interview with the Competent Authority (‘Form 4’ interview).

Content

Management System overview:

The required elements of a management system in accordance with ORO.GEN.200 including Lines of Accountability, Policies, Safety Management, Trained Personnel, Documentation, and Compliance Monitoring.

Specific requirements for Aircraft operators:

Personnel requirements for Commercial Air Transport (CAT), Non-Commercial (NCC) and Specialised Operators (SPO).

Safety Management (SMS):

Safety Management requirements including policies, risk assessment and risk management, safety assurance and safety promotion.

Compliance Monitoring

Compliance monitoring requirements including internal audit and sub-contracting.

Documentation requirements

Manuals and documented procedures, document management.

The seminar runs for approximately 6 hours including coffee breaks and a lunch break.

Location

As the client you may choose to attend the McKechnie training facility in West Sussex or we can deliver the training at your own headquarters or training location.

Price

The cost of a private seminar for up to 6 delegates at our facility in West Sussex (close to Gatwick Airport) is £2080. This includes lunch and refreshments.
