In order to conduct certification and oversight tasks NAA technical personnel need to have a detailed understanding of regulatory requirements as well as auditing and inspecting skills. It’s a requirement of ICAO standards and European rules that inspecting staff have suitable initial and recurrent training.

Invite the industry
Many of our Authority clients invite personnel from regulated organisations to participate in elements of their training. This is a great way to ensure a common understanding of the regulations between industry and the Authority and improve relationships. It can also allow the cost of the training to be spread as we can, if required, charge delegates individually for attendance.
McKechnie Aviation have provided technical training on the Air Operations and Aircrew regulations to Aviation Authorities in Europe, Africa the Middle East and Asia. We have also delivered practical training on audit techniques and certification including ‘on-the-job’ training. We are happy to deliver this training at our premises in the UK or at your location worldwide, saving on travel costs, and we can tailor the training to national regulations and the specific needs of your organisation.
Our consultants are involved in the development of regulations with EASA and national regulators, so we have a detailed knowledge of new, and emerging, topics including Evidence-based training (EBT), upset prevention and recovery training (UPRT), all-weather operations (AWO), use of Flight Simulations Training Devices (FSTD) to name a few.
